It operates soft start, soft stop, current limit start and kick start and like the SMC Flex Low Voltage Soft Starters is fully customizable. As well as a lower installed cost, the SMC-3 Soft Starter has reduced voltage and line disturbances and can be used with conveyors, compressors, fans, pumps and bandsaws.
